Dress2Ride collects the following data when you use the app:
Account information: Your Google account name and email address, used for authentication.
Closet data: Clothing items you add, including names, brands, categories, temperature ranges, and other attributes.
Ride data: If you connect Strava, we import your ride history (date, distance, duration, weather conditions) to improve recommendations.
Location data: When you plan a ride, your location is used to fetch weather forecasts. Location data is not stored permanently.
Your data is used solely to provide personalized clothing recommendations. We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data. AI analysis is performed via secure cloud functions and your data is not used to train AI models.
Your data is stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore under your user account. Each user's data is isolated and inaccessible to other users.
Firebase (Google): Authentication, data storage, and cloud functions.
Strava: Optional integration to import ride history. You can disconnect at any time.
OpenWeatherMap: Weather forecast data. Your location coordinates are sent to fetch forecasts but are not stored by us.
Anthropic: AI analysis of clothing items and recommendations. Item descriptions are sent for analysis but not retained.
You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@dress2ride.cc. We will remove all your data within 30 days.
